Our association Yéti Tamang Schools:

• Its purpose is to help the schooling of primary school children in the Democratic Republic of Nepal.

Our priorities after the earthquake in 2015 were the rehabilitation of the Tamang village school, Thulo Parsel.

• This association also facilitates direct sponsorships between members of the association who wish to help more particularly a child attending these primary schools.

Over the years and several visits by the president of the association and some members, it has also been set up the sponsorship of a student from a school in a Tamang village , Thulo Parsel for higher studies. (see the 2020 sponsorship section)

We can count on the invaluable help of our local representative, Bijay, who facilitates contact with school directors, meetings with students and administrative procedures.

 

Our goal :

The goal is to collect funds (money, donations in kind) which will then be reinvested in equipment, school projects or sponsorship. Tax deductible donations .

All donors will receive a report on the use of this money.

 

Our first aid after the earthquake in 2015:

Initially, our efforts focused on the Shree Chaulalanga school in Madan Kundari, 170 km from Katmandu.
